'I have composed music for as long I can remember, probably from about the age of 7 or 8. Back then I was composing little musical plays and embellishing existing piano music - my poor piano teacher!
Now, my work is incredibly diverse with commissioned works for both professional and amateur musicians as well as composing music for concerts, theatres, and documentary films. Collaboration is at the heart of what I do.'
Sophie is a graduate of The Royal College of Music and Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She is also a respected teacher and is Composer-in-Association with Bedford Modern School and Wootton Upper School & Arts College.
